RESERVATIONS

Reservations are guaranteed upon the receipt of a deposit. An online request does not constitute a reservation until we contact you to confirm the booking. During peak season a two day minimum stay may apply. All theme suites accommodate a maximum of two people; the Olympic Suite accommodates three people; and the Garden Suite accommodates four people.

DEPOSIT

We require your credit card information to reserve space at the time of booking. At the time of booking, 50% of the reservation total will be charged to your credit card. Full and final payment is due at check-in. We accept cash, traveller’s cheques, and credit cards. If for unforeseen reason you fail to arrive on the initial date of your booking you will be charged for all of the days that we were not able to rebook.

ACCOMMODATION RATES

All rates are quoted in Canadian funds. We are required to charge a government GST tax of 5% in addition to the basic rate.

CANCELLATION POLICY

We require 15 days advance notice for full refund less a $35.00 administration fee. Cancellations of less than 15 day’s notice, or failure to arrive on the initial date of the reservation, or departure prior to the last day of the reservation will only be reimbursed at the rack rate less an administrative fee of $35.00 if the room is able to be successfully rebooked. Please call your local agent for trip cancellation insurance to cover you in the event of an unexpected delay or cancellation in your travel plans. We will give you a cancellation number for your records.

CHECK IN

Check-in is available after 4:00 PM. We are happy to accommodate earlier or later arrivals providing appropriate arrangements are able to be made in advance. Please call us if you are delayed.

We are open year around.

ADULT ORIENTATED

All Theme Suites can accommodate a maximum of two persons. Although Sunset Harbour B&B is primarily designed for adult occupancy, children are welcome provided either the Olympic or Garden Suite is available.

ELEVATOR ASSISTANCE

Sunset Harbour B&B is equipped to deal with most special needs situations by offering full elevator service to all guest areas.

SMOKING

As a courtesy to our guests, we have a no smoking policy inside the premises. An outdoor covered patio is provided.

PARKING

Off street parking is available for automobiles.

PETS

We do love pets; however, as a courtesy to our other guests we are unable to accommodate pets. As former pet owners we would be happy to assist you with excellent kennel arrangements in the area.

SPECIAL DIETARY NEEDS

Please let us know in advance if you have any special dietary needs or concerns and we will gladly attempt to accommodate you.

Directions & Maps

Vancouver Airport is a 30 minute drive and the City of Vancouver is a 30 to 60 minute drive. Bus service to the airport and downtown is within a two minute walk. The Canada/US Border is less than a 10 minute drive with two crossings to choose from: Pacific Crossing on HWY 15, and the Douglas Crossing on HWY 99. Both crossings are located in Blaine, WA, and both are accessible from US-I5. Blaine is approximately 1.5 hours north of the Greater Seattle area.

From Washington State:

Pacific Highway (Blaine, WA) Port of Entry via I-5 North. Head north on Highway 15 to Sixteen Avenue. Turn left on sixteenth and proceed West for approximately 3.3 miles to Everall Street. Turn left on Everall and proceed through first stop sign. Proceed 1/2 block down hill and turn right into lane at 1353. Proceed to the bottom of the lane where you will be directed to a parking spot.
Douglas BC (Blaine WA) Port of Entry Via I-5 North:
Take exit 2 towards White Rock via 8th Avenue, which will become Marine Drive on the White Rock water front. Make a right turn on Oxford Street, a right turn on Hardie Ave and proceed for 1 block to Everall Street. Turn left on Everall and left into lane just north of second house. Proceed to the bottom of the lane where you will be directed to a parking spot.

From Vancouver / Airport:

South on Hwy 99 to first exit [King George exit] to White Rock. Follow King George Hwy to 32nd Ave Diversion. Follow winding 32nd Diversion which becomes 148th Street. Proceed south through 4 sets of lights and then turn left at the first opportunity onto Thrift Ave. Follow Thrift one block and turn right onto Everall Street. Proceed 1/2 block down hill and turn right into lane at 1353. Proceed to the bottom of the lane where you will be directed to a parking spot.

From Points East of Vancouver via Hwy 1:

Take the Hwy 10 (Langley) exit. Proceed west on Hwy 10 [This is a little tricky so watch the signs] to Hwy 15, turn left (south) on Hwy 15 to 16th Ave. Turn right on sixteenth and proceed West for approximately 5km (3.3 miles) to Everall Street. Turn left on Everall and proceed through first stop sign. Proceed 1/2 block down hill and turn right into lane at 1353. Proceed to the bottom of the lane where you will be directed to a parking spot.

From B.C. Ferry Terminal (Tsawwassen):

After leaving the Ferry Terminal stay on Highway 17 North and turn right onto Highway 10 East (Ladner Trunk Road) and continue until you can merge onto Highway 99 South just before the overpass.
The entrance onto 99 South will say "White Rock".  Continue South on Highway 99 to the first exit "White Rock", (King George Hwy). Follow King George Hwy to 32nd Ave Diversion. Follow the winding 32nd Ave Diversion which becomes 148th street. Proceed South through 4 sets of lights and then turn left at the first opportunity onto Thrift Ave. Follow Thrift one block and turn right onto Everall Street.
